A10 Series
A10-RX Firmware v5.10
Released: June 08, 2022
To ensure best performance, always run the latest version of A20-Mini or A10-TX firmware with the latest version of A10-RX firmware.
New:
- New Q-meter display options menu. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Display > Q-Meter. Options are Large (default) or Small. Large displays a larger Q-meter and smaller audio meter, as displayed in v5.00 and above. Small displays a smaller Q-meters and a larger audio meter.

- Improved time and consistency of locking to transmitters.

A10-RX Firmware v5.01
Released: April 19, 2022
To ensure best performance, always run the latest version of A20-Mini or A10-TX firmware with the latest version of A10-RX firmware.
Fixed:
- Fixed noise floor issue with Long Range Modulation on A10-TTX. A20-Mini was not affected. Important: Both the A10-TX and A10-RX need to be running firmware v5.01.
- Corrected communication issues with the Aaton Hydra introduced in v5.00

A10-RX Firmware v5.00
Released: April 06, 2022
To ensure best performance, always run the latest version of A20-Mini or A10-TX firmware with the latest version of A10-RX firmware.
New:
- New long-range modulation. The state-of-the-art, 100% digital long-range modulation offers the same great audio quality (10 Hz – 20 kHz) as our Standard modulation scheme with a longer range for both line-of-sight and heavy multipath transmission. Both the A10-TX or A20-Mini and the A10-RX Modulation menus must be set to “Long Range” in order to receive RF signals.
- New Q-meter displays the difference between the signal from the transmitter and any interference. Use the Q-meter to confidently choose frequencies which will give the best performance and range.
- SuperSlot support for setting Modulation and displaying Q-meter.
- New Menu>Settings>Display>Options menu to select what is displayed on the fourth line of the main screen. Options are Frequency or TV Ch.
Change:
- Improved RF Overload measurements.
- Improved performance of Green/Red RF Status LEDs. Green and Red LEDs now flash when RF is overloading.
- Privacy (Key) icon now appears only when there is a mismatch between the A10-TX and A10-RX Privacy key.
- Some display items and menus have been relocated to accommodate new features. The Settings menu has been reordered to Exit, Modulation, User Groups, TV Channel Map, Display, and LEDs. The Display submenu now contains the following menus: Brightness, Screensaver, Orientation, and Options.
Fixed:
- LEDs no longer display in the incorrect orientation after powering the A10-RX off from the menu.
- Improved the audio quality of the Input Low Cut Filter.

A20-Nexus v1.40 Firmware
Released: May 16, 2023
Important: After installing the firmware, it is essential that A20-Minis are unpaired, then re-paired with the A20-Nexus.
To ensure best performance, always run the latest version of A20-Mini with the latest version of A20-Remote and A20-Nexus.
New:
- Added a Tone Generator with adjustable level.
- Added ‘Show Audio Off Warnings’ toggle in System Menu page 2. When the toggle is off, the A20-Nexus does not show warnings that audio will stop when switching Tuning Bands and when switching to Scan mode.
- Added transmitter mute status to the 4RX, 8RX and All Views.
- Added combined Rec/Mute icon (blue circle with red border) in the 4RX, 8RX and All Views and Web App overview screen to indicate when a transmitter is simultaneously recording and muted.
Changes:
- Added Polarity confirmation popup to prevent accidental polarity changes in 1RX view.
- Web app Audio and Q meters moved to mimic their position in the A20-Nexus OLED screens.
- Audio metering range for A20-Mini received audio signal changed to –100 to 0 dBFS to better scale to the wide dynamic range of GainForward.
Fixed:
- Faster communication with the Wisycom LFA smart antenna.
- When set to ‘Never’, the Screensaver no longer comes on after several hours.
- Various Nexus and Web app improvements.
- Received audio signal from an A10-TX in LR mode is now at the correct level.
- A10-TX audio metering level is now displayed correctly.

A20-Nexus v1.30 Firmware

- Added Scan capability to the Web App RTSA view.
- Ability to define the AutoAssign Start/Stop range within the tuning band.
- Added 60 Hz option to the HPF. HPF not available when using the A20-QuickDock.
Changed:
- Added RF On/Off toggle to the Set Frequency popup so that the RX channel can be turned off to save power while keeping the last frequency setting.
- Added the ability to edit a Nexlinked transmitter’s name when the TX is powered off.
- Added ‘Are You Sure?’ popup when unpairing a transmitter from the TX List.
- Increased font size of RTSA blue marker frequency/dBm display and yellow frequency min/max labels.
- In ALL View (12ch and 16ch only), tapping the 4ch bottom label now selects the associated 4RX View.
- It is now possible to set the RF frequency from the 1RX and 4RX views when the channel is sourced from a NexLinked transmitter that is currently not connected.
- Scan width is now variable and controlled by the HP knob when set to zoom horizontal mode (yellow zoom icon).
- Scan Mode title added to the top of 4th screen in the Scan View.
Fixed:
- Improved response of the NexLink signal strength meters.
- All RX View now flashes the frequency field red when there is a country conflict.
- HP knob press function now works the first time after powering up.
- Improvements to Wisycom LFA/BFA smart antenna communication.
- The 31st day is now selectable for applicable months in the Date/Time popup.

8-Series v9.31 Firmware

- Lectrosonics DSR4 full SuperSlot control via SL-2. Ensure the DSR4 is running v1.09 firmware or higher.
- Added Mute/Arm Grouping allowing mutes and arms to be independently grouped from trim and fader control. Select in the Channel setup>Channel Grouping menu.
- New System>Headphone Volume Lock menu allowing users to lock/unlock the headphone volume control.
Changes
- Default CL-16 U4 button changed to AutoMixer .
Fixed
- To prevent a lockup, the Controllers > Mapping menu now ignores the 'Fav'/Reset toggle when bringing up the popup list to change the mapped button’s action.
- Full SD Cards no longer show as ">99h" remaining in the File List.
- The CL-16 Scene Increment Button no longer stays incorrectly illuminated.
- The CL-16 Bus Sends on Faders mode middle row encoders now adjust send level for channels 17-32.
- All CL-16 Bus Mute Indicators now persist when exiting then re-entering Bus Mode.
- BWF files are no longer intermittently being recorded as RF64 files.

8-Series v9.20 Firmware
To ensure best performance, always run the latest version of 8-Series firmware with the latest version of the SD-Remote.
New
- Added auto-resume file upload capability. Now if the connection to frame.io is lost while a file is uploading, when the connection is automatically re-established, the file will continue to upload from where it left off rather than starting again. This saves time and prevents duplicate file entries in frame.io
- Support for 4 channels of digital audio per slot from the Lectrosonics DSR4 to 8-series via SL-2. Note: Superslot control not supported in this firmware release.
- Added option to gray out meters for CL-16 disarmed ISO and Bus tracks.
- Support for the SL-MixFace controller.
Changed
- Solo Follows Select On/Off now affects CL-16 as well as 3rd Party MCU controllers.
Fixed
- Output delay is now applied to both A1 and A2 outputs of Scorpio’s 10-pin A Output.
- CL-16 menu button no longer stays illuminated after using it in conjunction with pressing knobs for muting channels, buses, and outputs.
- Add fixes to support new Waves Fit hardware and firmware v2.03.
- Fixed rare issue where slot receivers would not power up in an SL-2.
- Channel 1 and 3 labels are now centered on the LR,1-3 horizontal meter screen.
- Eliminated a rare lockup that could result from playing back monophonic files.
- Occasional loud pops on headphones when powering on or off have been eliminated.
- Virtual channel trim and fader values are now saved on power down.

MixPre Series
MixPre Firmware V8.00

- Support for the Reporter Plugin - an optional paid plugin for MixPre-3, MixPre-3 II, MixPre-6, and MixPre-6 II. Simplify the settings of your MixPre so your contributors can focus on capturing great content. The Reporter plugin allows you to configure your MixPre in advance and then lock the menus. Send it off with a journalist, interviewee, or another contributor in confidence!
Changed
- File transfer mode and USB audio with both class compliant and ASIO drivers are now approved for use with Windows 11.
- Elapsed record time now includes the pre-roll time.
- Take number is reset to 001 when a new project is created.
- Firmware updating is now prohibited when power is low.
Fixed
- Legacy MixPre-3, MixPre-6, and MixPre-10T now always format SD cards that are 32 GB or less. This was not an issue with the MixPre II Series.
- Limiters no longer remain disabled when changing from Advanced to Basic mode.
